Quality Standards
Charity Commission

Crossroads now joins only six other umbrella bodies in the UK who have achieved recognition of their quality assurance system from the Charity Commission. CROQUET (Crossroads Quality Evaluation Tool) was developed from the widely used PQASSO system in 1999. CROQUET is an innovative system that is used for auditing internal aspects of Crossroads services and the organisation as a whole. Areas covered include governance, finance, services, people and quality. This helps Crossroads maintain high standards of service, while developing services to meet carers’ changing needs. CROQUET has now been acknowledged as meeting the Commission’s Hallmarks of an Effective Charity standard.
Crossroads Care Essex was accredited with the highest level 3 accolade on 14th July 2011.
